Frank Wood (father of TJM Southside proprietor Dave : valued supporter of “The Carty Boys Tour”) is the bloke who was instrumental with our travel plans, mainly with respect to car modifications & caravan knowledge, along with other snippets of advice. Franks most advocated principle is what we came to know as the “KISS PRINCIPLE” – Keep It Simple Stupid.
On 80 Mile beach there would be literally hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of four wheel drives & quad bikes (crickey, do the west ozzies love their quads). Not this bloke. As soon as I spotted this I thought of Frank & the KISS Principle.
