ONE GREAT SHARK
After a write up in the local paper back home, a bloke by the name of Chris Slacksmith (ex Shark forward) volunteered a day out fishing with the boys when we arrived in Broome. Chris now works up here most of the time & as it worked out he was in town with his dad & a couple of old mates. Chris is a country boy & it really showed with his warmth & gentle nature with the boys.
Chris is seen here with his dad Tony & some fine trevally; not a bad double hook up fellas.
It was definitely one of, if not the best charters ever. A great bunch of blokes, a great skipper & deckie, & fish that only dreams are made of.
Thanks Chris; it was a very generous offer, & you really made an impression on the boys. They idolise their Shark players & you provided a day they will never forget.
