52. Karumba

KARUMBA SUNSET
Everyone raves about the sunsets in the west, but I reckon the Gulf sunsets aren’t too bad either.

ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE
For our last night in Karumba we were lucky to watch the sun set through clear skies.

BRAHMAN MUSTER
These cockies were from central Queensland up north buying some cattle. The station that they were buying from is run exclusively by local Aboriginals. It was exciting to watch them draft the cattle for inspection by their new owners. These guys buy cattle that are in calf, then fatten the calves up for sale or expand the herd depending on how much food they have on their land at the time, the price of meat etc.
