SUGAR CANE FIRE The smoke could easily be seen from 15kms away. I had never seen a cane burn & it was something that I had wished to see ever since I was a young boy travelling north with my old man. Matt & I jumped in the car to investigate. The cane farmer was old school & still believes that this is the way to get the best crop the next season.
