58. Buffalo Feeding, Waterhole, Etta Bay

CALF FEEDING The calves are weaned off mum as soon as possible. As these Buffalos are bred for high quality milk they don’t want the young ones drinking mums precious milk so they are hand feed with supplement milk from as early as a week old.

ETTY BAY After over 13,000 kilometres we hit the east coast again. This place was quite beautiful, a small camp area with the ocean metres away. I had seen this type of landform further north on previous trips but didn’t realise that the rainforest met the sea in these parts.
